Greetings, I would like to thank all of you that responded to my posting. I learned more in a couple of days that I could have ever learned on my own. It was awesome and I was thrilled!!! I wrote for a copy of these naturalization papers some time ago and was told they could not find them but I gave the name Samuel August Turner without knowing he was known as August Turner. Could someone tell where to write to for a copy of the naturalization papers and also a copy of the intent for naturalization. Also, are the Lutheran Church membership records available for Henry County? Thank you again for all of your help and I love hearing about Henry Co and all of you. My family is from Kalmar, Sweden and maybe I have common roots with some of you.
