The LEMPKE's I am looking for were foster parents to my mother, DOROTHY WISSER, born 1926. They lived on a farm in Kewanee, IL [the address was a post office box #]. I can see the farm in my mind's eye. My LEMPKE's had a daughter named, VELMA, born probably in the early 1900's. When the LEMPKE's passed away, VELMA, took over the care of my mother and the farm along with her husband, EVERETT KRAUSE. I have pictures, but no names to tie to the faces. What do you think?
