I have a Catherine Seiller who married Tobias Egert in Wittisheim, Alsace-Loraine, France. They were the parents of George Egert who immigrated to US about the same time as what you mentioned. They also came through New Orleans, to Naperville, IL and walked to Loraine Twp, Henry co., IL. My mother was an Egert and I have lots of info on the family. I'd be very interested in anything you would have on the Seyller/Seiller name. I used to live in the same township and knew a man named Benny Seyller. They lived neighbors to my great and grandparents on Illinois Highway Route 92.
