I don't have any info. about them, but thought it interesting to add that one of our ancestors also came from Belchertown, Hampshire Co., MA and settled in Buda, Bureau Co., and later in Hastings, Adams Co., NE where he died and is buried. Henry Stiles Hannum m. Elizabeth Belle Teagarden. Henry descendant of William Hannum and Honor Capen who emigrated to Massachusetts in 1630 on the ship the Mary and John. Two of their sons born in Buda, Bureau Co., IL and my great grandfather Charley Clinton Hannum b. in Hastings, Adams Co., NE. Charley settled in Glendale, Los Angeles Co., CA and died when I was about 7months old. He is buried in Kewanee, Henry Co., IL. Elizabeth Belle Teagarden descendant of emigrant ancestors Abraham Tegarden from Solingen, Germany and Anna Margretha Albrecht from Clauberg, Germany emigrated on the ship Harle to Philadelphia, PA 1 Sep 1736. I think our Henry Stiles was probably too young to have fought in the Civil War as he was born 2 July 1858.
