Joyce - I cannot tell your for sure what Catholic Church was in Kewanee that early, but when my husband's family members died in 1903 and 1904 their services were held from the Church of the Visitation. It had been there quite awhile before their deaths, I know. When I wrote for information on that church my letter was sent on to the church that exists today - St. Mary's Cahtolic Church at 406 Central Boulevard, Kewanee, IL 61443-2010. They told me that this church was established September 1, 1952, by the merger of Visitation and St. Joseph Churches. I did not get any baptism or marriage records because the family had not been in the church that long, but they did find the family buried in St. Mary's Cemetery and sent me that information.
