Hi List! Are any of you researching residents of Kewanee in the 1860s who where imigrants from Ireland? Have not heard much about Ireland on this list. I am researching Mathew JOYCE b 1806 Ireland. He married Mary FARRELL. They lived in Kewanee in 1850s to 1870s. They were from the Co Carlow, Co Kilkenny, Co Wexford areas of Ireland. (the three county boarder each other at one point) Anyone else from this area? Mary

My ancestor, Michael Grant, was born in 1810 in either Ireland or Ontario. He left Ontario in the late 1830s with wife and family and went to NY and from there to Henry Cty near Cambridge. He was a brick mason and farmer.
