Hi Jacquie, Again thanks for your information that made me again a little wiser. I shall write a letter to Mrs. Pride Topham as you suggested however I hope the adress given is still actual. Sorry for the late reply; wish you a nice weekend! Best greetings, Ed van de Walle - Tilburg / Nederland e-mail; edmundus@home.nl ----- Original Message ----- From: Fred and Jacquie Schattner To: ILHENRY-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, November 12, 2002 11:32 PM Subject: Re: [ILHENRY-L] Re: Who can help? Begyn - Naturalization In Henry County, Peter Begyn was naturalized on June 5, 1941. He was 68 years old. Edward Begyn born 1879 was naturalized april 11, 1901 at the age of 17. (There must be a mistake in the birth year because at 17 years old, he would have been born in 1884. And he is listed as a minor so he has be to under 18. ) Both were natives of Belgium. As for finding Mrs. Topham, you will probably have to write her a letter with a stamp!. Many people do not have e-mail. You can find her address on alot of search sites for telephone and addresses.
