Gustav (Gustof) English and Ida Matilda Johnson were married in Henry County on 12/10/1883. Gustav was born 10/25/1863 in Enges, Barlingbo, Gotland, Sweden; I can trace his roots back many generations. However, Ida is a dead end. Here's what I know. She was born January 24, 1864 in Sweden, and died in Beemer, Cuming County, Nebraska. Gus & Ida had the following children: Alma Josephine, born 1884 in Illinois, m. Arthur McKown Emil Gustave, born 1886 Elmer Rudolf, born 1888, m. Anna Ernest Carl, born 1890 Edwin F., born 1894 Esther M., born 1896 Lincoln D., born 1898 in Nebraska, died 1908 Adolf, born 1900 Albert, born 1904, died 1915.
