The 1877/1876 birth records that you are searching are just early enough that they might not be available. Statewide registration of births and deaths did not start in Illinois until 1916 so county records are often quite spotty up until that time. There was no requirement to register births before then. You may need to try one of the nearby counties for your 1908/1912 deaths. Have you tried a funeral home in the area for records of these deaths? They can be quite helpful. Good luck in your search.
