Good evening, I hope someone will be able to help me. I found my g/grandfather Frank Wilson and g-grandmother Aletha J Sheriff on the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index 1763-1900. They were married in Henry Counth, Geneseo on July 26, 1871. I sent a letter to The Henry County Clerk requesting for a copy of the Marriage Certificate for my g/grandparents. What I received was a Marriage License! No other documentation was enclosed. My question is, should I also write to the Illinois State Board of Health?
