    1. [ILHENRY-L] Kewanee Public Hospital Auxiliary Booklet from 1919
    2. Baldwin
    3. This is eBay item Item # 2158700213. I have copied the description below from the auction.....The auction ends abt 10:30pm Central Time today Saturday the 15th... THIS & THAT KEWANEE PUBLIC HOSPITAL AUXILIARY BOOKLET This is an old booklet called This and That that was put out by the Kewanee Public Hospital Auxiliary, Kewanee, Illinois. The only date I could find is 1919. That was the year auxiliary was organized so this booklet is sometime after that. It is in such sad shape that I almost threw it out and then I thought maybe someone out there could find something interesting in it. It is falling apart. It gives a list of the members. It has recipes, etiquette articles and home hints. There are a lot of old Kewanee business advertisements.

    1. [ILHENRY-L] locating Henry County items on eBay
    2. Baldwin
    3. When I do my searches I use the basic search option and type in Henry County Illinois and I check the search titles and descriptions box. If you dont include to search the descriptions most often things will not pop. For instance on the burns one, the title only said souvenir 1899 look at this. You often get a lot of non related items by doing a description search but this is the best way to locate things. Item # 2159184617 is the item number for this auction Often I start typing in the city names and illinois Geneseo Illinois or Geneseo Il I find some people do not know what county Geneseo is in or other smaller towns..Il start listing item #s so it will make things easier.... 3. No, I didn't have George Goodley! Thanks. There's a link on the photoalbum page to a photographer's list I have been working on-- trying to get their names and approximate dates of operations listed so folks might have an easier time putting a time frame to their old photos. But I didn't find George. 2. donald adams
    3. I was recently given a copy of the 1968 book "Corn, Commerce, and Country Living, A History of Henry County, Illinois" . It is partially indexed and I am willing to do lookups. There is very little biographical information but a lot of 'firsts' and community information. It make take a little time to go through the book to find particular info so be patient! Carol Adams

    3. Susie, Anytime you want to get on a soapbox is fine by me. I love the site. I used it as much as I could in the beginning of my research. The surname I am looking for is not well known, so not much info there. I am new to genealogy period and it was so nice to have the Henry Co. site to learn on. Your work has saved a lot of people a lot of time. Thanks for the work you do. 1. [ILHENRY-L] Off Topic but I need some email help
    2. Susie Martin-Rott
    3. Our internet provider recently implemented some changes in their emailing system and now I cannot get my Eudora mail to work any more. The only mail program they support is Outlook Express which I can't stand but am being forced to use because the ISP would not let any mail go OUT from my Eudora any more. I'm not familiar with all the inner-workings of Outlook Express and am wondering if someone can tell me if there is a setting by which all the entries in a "Digest" message will list in the single message rather than each message being treated as an individual attachment thus forcing me to jump back and forth and open each section individually? And on the opposite end of the spectrum, how can I get it to treat the photos as attachments instead of "inline" ...wouldn't ya know the first mail I got on Outlook express was someone's nasty porno picture! I did finally get my emails imported into this critter but find it very confusing to use. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
