I'm still looking for Charles Schenck, who supposedly stayed behind in N.J. when Christian and family came to Nauvoo. Now I've learned that Charles was married to Alice Golden, and in the LDS IGI pages, there is a reference to an Alice Golden in Hancock. Could be he came out for just a short time, got married and returned. Does this combination ring a bell out there. Emerson
