I'm looking at a long shot here. Trying to rule out; more than prove anything. Does anyone have any information on a Thomas STONEKING and a Mattie J. FIELDING married in Hancock Co., IL? I have a Jesse S. FIELDING and Atlanta HAGGARD as her parents, and a possible Sarah (?) STONEKING listed in the 1850 IL Census (age 30) with a David (6), Thomas (4), and Martha (3) in McDonough Co., as his. Ancestry.com show's that Mattie was born in Plymouth, Hancock Co., IL and IL, and had siblings Emma and F. Maude. The IL Marriage Search show they were married in McDonough Co., 5 Aug 1891. Also another wrinkle is there is another(same) Thomas STONEKING listed in the IL Marriage Search that married a Sarah Jane DUNBAR in Hancock Co., IL 18 Aug 1879. This man was married at least six times and wandered from Adair & Scotland Co., MO to McDonough & Schuyler Co., IL and maybe up into IA as one of his wives was from IA according to the listing for my G-Grandmother in the 1880 as to where her parents came from. Would just like to rule these out if possible. They just keep coming up. Thanks for any help you can provide!!
