Bigelow St., died at 8:45 p.m. yesterday at St. Francis Hospital where he was admitted Sept. 9. He had suffered a fall at his home prior to entering the hospital, according to information given Coroner Horace Payton, who is investigating. Munson, 80, of 1809 N. Bigelow St., who died at 8:45 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Endsley & Son Funeral Home, 1124 Main St. The Rev. Fred E. Ball of Central Assembly of God Church and the Rev. Bobby Ray of First Assembly of God Church will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. Mr. Munson came to Peoria in 1933 to start his landscape business which he turned over to his son, Garold upon his retirement in 1957. He was born in Missouri Feb. 29, 1888, a son of Eli and Mary Barb Munson, and married Zelma P. Farr at Carthage Jan. 31, 1910. He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Irvin (Velda) Funk and Mrs. Verlus (Delores) Fowler, both of Peoria; three sons, Leo of Billings, Mont., Garold L. of Peoria and Chancie W. Munson of Metamora; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Mr. Munson died Friday, Sept. 13, 1968, in a Peoria Hospital. He was born in 1888 to Mr. and Mrs. Eli Munson in Missouri and attended the Assembly of God Church. He married Zelma Fair of near Joetta. He was a landscaper until his retirement. Surviving with his wife are three sons, Chauncie, Leo and Garold; two daughters, Velda and Delores all of Peoria and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Violet.
