She was born Nov. 15, 1910, in Pilot Grove, the daughter of Claude and Marie Hedrick Robinson. On Aug. 20, 1930, in Denver, Ill., she married Martin John Altheide. He died Jan. 1, 1994. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Altheide of Warsaw; three sons, Don Altheide of Quincy, James Altheide of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Robert Altheide of Maryland Heights, Mo.; one sister, Betty Murphy of Quincy; four grandchildren, Jennifer Altheide, Anne Altheide, Carla McPherson and Beth Wagner; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Iris Skiles; and two brothers, Dale Robinson and Ivan Robinson. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Warsaw. She cooked for the Warsaw School District for many years. She enjoyed making quilts, making over 20. She enjoyed birds, flowers and was an avid reader. Services were held July 15, 2000, at the Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw with Rev. Ann Champion officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church of Warsaw.
