Munson died at her home in this city last Wednesday following child birth. She was the daughter of Hardin Johns and had been married about a year. The funeral occured from the M. E. church Thursday afternoon, Rev. J. W. Edwards officiating. Burial at Moss Ridge. The Carthage Republican Carthage, Illinois Wednesday December 16, 1903 Page 5 Column 1 ------------------------ Death of Mrs. M. A. Munson. Mrs. Minnie Johns Munson was born in Ferris Hancock Co. Ill. February 28th, 1881, Died in Carthage, Hancock County Ill. December 9th, 1903 at 5 oclock a. m. Decased was the daughter of Hardin and Mary Johns. Her mother died July 7th, 1889. Her father still survives She leaves to mourn her loss besides her father a husband three brothers, James Johns of Galesburg, Frank and Bert of this city and one sister Ida Munson of near Burnside. She was a kind and loving disposition and every ready to exlend a helpful hand her loss will be keenly felt by those who knew her best. She was married to Marion A. Munson of this city last winter who finds him self after these few brief happy months bewildered by her sudden taking away. There is left to his care and love a prescious little one a few days old to bless him we trust with enlarged sympathies and love and to remind him of her whose physical image and disposition in greater or less degree bears. Mrs. Munson united with the M. E. church in the year 1890.
