    1. Re: [ILHANCOC] Burial data.....
    2. Shawnee....Yes, Leo does live in Warsaw and has for many years. He loves to talk genealogy. One name can trigger him to remember anecdote after another about almost any name you can give him. Like I said his memory is phenominal. Leo's parents were Oliver Clone and Velva Marie Starr Kimbrough. His wife is Virginia Happs Kimbrough. She was born in Warsaw and graduated high school there. I have hundreds, literally hundreds of Kimbrough's in my file. I use the Personal Ancestry File that I downloaded from the Family Search website. I love it as it is so easy to use. My data base is quite extensive, not only with the names on Mother's side of the family but on my Father's side also. So whip a name on me! :-) I probably have someone by that surname. :--) I would love to exchange data with you at some point in time. I know that you are very busy with the cemetery lists. As a matter of fact, I have been copying off the cemetery lists for Leo also. I have a binder that I am keeping them all in for myself and I mail them to Leo and he is thrilled to have them. He has been studying them very carefully. I live in Northern California in a little place called Magalia. It is in the foothills above Chico, California. Chico is only about a 25 minute drive from my home. Where do you live? I believe that Leo will be donating all of his data and pictures to the Hancock County Historical Society at his passing. He and I have discussed this many times. He wants to share what he has. At one time he told me he had over 2,500 copies of pictures in his files. He taught himself to take pictures of the old pictures that he found in his searching. Sometimes he would see a picture on a wall and tell the people that he knew who that was. Startled they would then open up and tell him all he wanted to know and allow him to take pictures of their pictures. I did contact the Historical Society and Kathleen Burnett wrote back that he needed to put in writting what his wishes were. She did not express an interest in going to talk to him though. I believe that if someone would do that they would find that he is a font of information. Some of his stories about people are very funny while others are sad. He remembers the night that, I believe his name was Fred Gillenwater, shot and killed a young woman and Leo's father taking a gun with him to help find the man. Leo is just full of stories about the "olden" days. I loved hearing from you and would like to hear from you again as you have the time. Elva Carle Haughey
