I'm looking for information about "Major" John Williams, born 1791 NC, who migrated to Hancock Co. by 1830 or so. His first wife was Mary, who John married in Union Co., SC before 1814 when son Lemuel Rhodes Williams was born, and we need to find out what happened to her. Second wife was Letitia Jones. John Williams started the Majorville Methodist Episcopal Church near Fountain Green, and is buried in its cemetery. Sally Williams
