I am search for additional information on Martin and Paulina Bartell Martin Bartell was born Nov. 11, 1824 in we are guessing Dresden, Saxony, Germany. He died Oct. 3, 1893. I am unsure where he died but he is buried in "The Old Augusta Cemetery" in Augusta, IL. I am not sure where he died because Hancock county was not able to locate his death certificate. I will be trying Galesburg next because his eldest son lived there. He married (1) Paulina Czopick ( a relative told me is pronounced Chopeski. I think they may have dropped some letters for the name ) Feb. 19, 1851. She was born June 4, 1827 in we think Dresden, Saxony, Germany and died May 8, 1890 and is buried in "The Old Augusta Cemetery" in Augusta, IL. He ( Martin) married (2) Augusta (Schley) Wedemeier July 19, 1892 in Bristol, SD daughter of Francis Schley of Quincy, IL ( I have her Obit. notice but not much else).
