I have two separate sources that cite a death date for Mathilda (Miner) Allison. The Raccoon Brigade by Jeannette Grosvenor says she died 1 September 1860 in Warsaw, Hancock Co., IL; another source says that she died 18 June 1841 in the same location. Her husband died in 1840 in Ohio and she is not known to have remarried; at least not in Ohio. To complicate matters, I cannot find her in the 1840, 1850, or 1860 census. Does anyone have any information that will help here? I've looked at the Warsaw cemeteries that are on-line at the Rootsweb Hancock Co. site and haven't found her. I would really appreciate some assistance on this; I need this information for lineage papers. Thanks in advance. CheriC
