Hi Shawnee, Your listing of the Old Mormon Cemetery had a name on it that was of interest to me. It was George Rahn died 1879. I have two George Rahns in my data; one of these could be the one listed there but can't tell for certain. I will add it here to see if you can use it. George RAHN - b. about 1836 (calculated by using the age on the ships list and the US Census) in Hesse Darmstadt Germany; d. May 11, 1879 in Sonora Township (as stated in Historical Encyclopedia of Illinois and History of Hancock County Vol II in 1921). His parents were Justus RAHN and Margretha Elisabeth Siepel who married in Hesse Darmstadt Germany on February 15, 1835 (from Lutheran Church records in Germany). The family emmigrated on the ship Onieda from Harve, France to New York, New York, arriving on May 31, 1845. Margretha Elisabeth died enroute(family lore). George married Mary Chandler March 14, 1861 in Hancock County. George and Mary had four sons; William b. abt. 1862, Charles E. b. abt. 1866, George b. April 4, 1870, and Warren A. b. abt 1873.
