Researching LIETZ, specifically John Lietz and Matilda Wollschlager Lietz who moved to Hancock County c. 1894 with their three children, Joseph, Elizabeth and Clara. Lived somewhere near Warsaw. While there, four more children were born, John (c. 1898), Tresa (c. 1895), Mathilda (c. 1896) and Albert (Feb. 21, 1902). Only Albert, who was my father, survived. The others succumbed to childhood diseases and are very likely buried there somewhere. The family was Roman Catholic so would likely have attended a Catholic church in or near Warsaw. I need to find out where they might have attended church and where the children might be buried. The family moved from Hancock County about 1905.
