Illinois and had seven children, (Caroline, Thomas, Susan, King, Nancy, Isrun?, Nathon). James E. Clark died, March 21, 1876 in Newton Co., Missouri. George W. Clark (born 1816, Illinois Terr.) was married to Lucinda Jane Beasley in St. Clair, Il - July 23, 1846. George died in St. Clair, Co. on May 23, 1863. James E. Clark owned land in Hancock Co. T. 3N, R 7W (St. Albins?). It also should be mentioned that James & George were buying up land in the town of Freeburg, plated by John Tolin Leeman. I am now researching an Isaac Clark (Madison, IL 1820 Census) as a possible father candidate. Isaac married a Nancy Coal in 1812 St. Clair Co., Illinois.
