Good morning -- I have copies of 3 letters written by a lady named IRIS GRIFFITH RICH in 1974 as she was researching her husband's family. Would anyone know who this lady is, if she is still living, and how I could make contact with her or her descendants? At the time of the letters she was living in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Her husband's great-grandmother was listed as RACHEL JANE DERRY (b-1842), daughter of BASIL DERRY and SARAH ?? Her husband's DERRY ancestors were from the Adams, Schuyler, Hancock Counties of Illinois and Lewis County, MO. I do not know who RACHEL JANE married (possibly a WILLIAM L. ALEXANDER) but this is unconfirmed. I do not know the descendant line from RACHEL JANE down to Iris Rich's husband and would like very much to establish this and contact the family.
