Patterson died at his country home two miles southwest of Carthage, Thursday, March 31, at 12 oclock p. m., aged 83. Mr. Patterson was born in Clark county, Ind., and came to Carthage about 50 years ago and lived on the south side of the square a few years, then moved to the farm which he owned and on which he died. The funeral was held from the Christian church Saturday, April 2, at 2 p. m., Judge C. J. Scofield officiating. Burial in Moss Ridge.
