Dear Seekers: in response to a query from carolynnandre@hotmail.com - the following is provided on the surnames: SUMMERS; EADS; & LUNNEBURGER. No, I do not do "look-ups" - I simply do not have the time. I do try to find data/info, in response to queries placed on the ILHANCOCK List, and share to the list, in general, as my time permits. Is it restricted to Hancock co? I am searching for these names in Hancock co: Summers; Otto Eads, Sarah Ann b 1842 in Hancock co., and Linnenburgers. Thank you in advance for any help Carolynn Leblanc ------------------------- Dear Carolynn, PIONEERS OF THE PRAIRIE is, in the main, really just Hancock Co., although there is some mention of people who may have moved on to/came from Adams Co., IL. Adams Co., abuts Hancock Co. ... i.e., south of Hancock Co. Prior to the establishment of Hancock Co., admin/legal papers, etc., were maintained in Adams Co. - so if you don't find your ancestors in Hancock Co. documents, you should try Adams Co. [data inside brackets [] are my comments] In the referenced book by Wilma BRUNENN, are the following SUMMERS entries: SUMMERS, George W. - married Sarah Ellen RAMSEY who was b. 18 Dec 1842; she died 1 Feb 1880.
