Il Obituaries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/HancockObits/427 Surname: Hillesheim ------------------------- >From the Nauvoo Independent, December 8 1884 DIED LAUBERSHEIMER-At the residence of her son, Max Laubersheimer, in this city on Saturday, November 25th,1884, Mrs. BARBARA LAUBERSHEIMER,widow of the late Lawrence Laubersheimer, in her 76th year. Mrs. Laubersheimer was born in Rhine,Bavaria, February,26th,1809. She came to this country with her husband in 1858, and in 1859 to this city, Nauvoo, Hancock county, IL.,which they made their home until the stern messenger of death called them hence, the old gentleman having - died some ten months or a year ago. Mrs. Laubersheimer had been quite inform on account of age, for some time, and for several weeks had been confined to her bed. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from the Catholic church, Rev. Reimbold officiating, and the remains were interred in the cemetery belonging to the church, in the suburbs of the city.
