The Carthage Republican Carthage, Illinois Wednesday February 1, 1905 Page 3 Column 2 - ----------------------------- We are pained to hear of the death of two of our former neighbors, Mrs. Mary Walker and Leo Kimbrough. Our heart goes out in earnest sympathy to the bereaved ones. These partings are inseparable from this life. We say hail and farewell. ROB. MIDDLE CREEK. OBITUARY. After five long months of intense but patient suffering of a disease that baffled the best of medical skill, Leo, youngest child of R. M. and Almeda Kimbrough, peacefully fell asleep, Wednesday, Feb. 1st. Leo was a cheerful and unselfish boy, taking sunshine with him wherever he went and will be sadly missed in this community where he has always lived. Besides father and mother he leaves one brother, Dennis; one sister, Mrs. Flora Lane and an adopted sister, Mrs. Emma Reuck, all of this place. The funeral was conducted at the home, Friday at 11 a.m. by Elder Frazee, of Bentley, whose words were comforting to the bereaved relatives and friends. Burial at Holland cemetery. Leos memory will be always cherished by those who knew and loved him, whose death has brought deep sorrow to many hearts. Mr. Kimbrough is real poorly at present, he is under the doctors care. Funeral services were preached at the house by Elder L. E. Frazee. The remains were laid at rest in Holland cemetery. We share our sympathy with the bereaved. He is a young man who had many friends and will be missed among us all. Burial was in Holland cemetery, after services by Elder Frazee.
