Reeder died at his home here Dec. 22, aged 60 years. He was born in West Virginia and was employed by the government as a teamster during the civil war. Later he came to Hancock county and resided near Elm Tree for nearly thirty years, coming to Carthage two years ago. He was a Methodist and for twenty-five years had been a member of the official board of that church. The funeral was conducted by Rev. G. C. Shaffer and interment was in Moss Ridge.
