She was united in marriage Oct. 19, 1882 to Thomas N. Kimbrough, who preceded her in death 43 years ago. To this union were born four children: Oliver C. Kimbrough and Vernon Kimbrough, both of Basco, Ill.; Mrs. Flossie Kleckner and Mrs. Blanche White, who reside east of Carthage. Her parents, Marion and Elizabeth Cox; two brothers Henry and Albert and one sister, Mrs. Amanda Immegart, having passed away several years ago. Just one of the family is left, a sister, Mrs. Almira Hough. She was converted and united with the Methodist church at Elm Tree, when quite young, later transferring her membership to Bentley church and has always lived a life true to her profession. She made her home with her son, Vernon and wife, who have so faithfully and tenderly cared for her during her long illness. She was an ideal mother and her beautiful affection was generously and purely returned by all her dear ones. To know her was to love her. All was done that loving hands could do, but it was God’s will to call her home. Those left to mourn her loss besides the four children, are eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Almira Hough, of Bowen, Ill., and a number of nieces and nephews. / . .
