John G. Fonda, and further states "Thomas Logan, Hamilton, Lt.-Col., Nov, 2_, 1862; mustered out Oct. 1, 1865." Pioneers of the Praire, by Wilma Brunenn, p.515, states, "LOGAN, COL. THOMAS - born 1827, died July 1879, married Elizabeth Ann Bell, she died March 13, 1896. Mr. Logan was a vetern of the Civil War, 2nd. ILL. Cav. Co. G. Seven children, four named: 1- Mrs. J. D. Hamilton, 2-Addie, 3- Charles, 4- Bessie Huewett." I am not researching this family and have no further information>
