Yetter a former Carthage resident died in his home in Los Angeles, Aug. 29, after three months serious illness. He was born Sept. 24, 1903, near Carthage to John and Mary Swain Yetter. He attended Carthage high school and spent seven years in the navy. He was married to Miss Maevis Loops of Bowen in 1927. One daughter, Bettye, was born to this union. He later moved to California which has been his home since. He has served as railway clerk for 25 years. Besides his wife and daughter he is survived by his mother and two brothers, Frank of Hamilton and James of Monrovia, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Mary.
