He was born June 21, 1915, in Rutledge, Mo., the son of Martin and Rena Kiesow. He married Dorothy Munson Kiesow July 25, 1942. A Navy war veteran, Mr. Kiesow was employed at the Colchester Stone Quarry. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kiesow of White Hall and Mrs. Roger (Marsha) Omanson of Jeffersonville, Ind.; a son, James Kiesow of Moline; five sisters, Mrs. James (Maybelle) Fisher of Edina, Mo., Mrs. Charlie (Edna) Dye of Ferris, Mrs. Howard (Juanita) Newton of Beanerton, Ore., Mrs. James (Rosalie) Landers of Tempe, Ariz., and Mrs. (Dorothy) Brierton of Ferris; a brother, Herbert Kiesow of Long Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Mr. Kiesow was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother Robert Kiesow. Services were conducted Tuesday at the Neiser Funeral Home in Carthage with Ernest Barrett officiating. Burial was in Moss Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Carthage Public Library or the American Cancer Society.
