Hi, friends, Friday morning I mowed the Old Brick cemetery again, and that evening Ray S. and I went out again, and he confirmed and clarified the location of some unmarked graves, and offered ideas and help from his experiences, which should help us locate more stones if they are there. I am 99% sure now of the location of the grave of John C. Berry, although there is no stone. Warren Van Dine interviewed my grandfather many years ago, and my grandfather told him that the cemetery was covered with brush, so they went in and cleared a spot and dug a grave (in 1931). It would be the closest one to the gate found so far. I've ordered a probe like Ray's and when it comes I will be out there (as time permits) looking for more stones. I will let you all know of any I find. Ray deserves a medal for the amazing, awesome marvelous work he has done restoring a cemetery near his home, and I'm really happy to have his help.
