    3. >From "Pioneers of the Prairie" by Wilma Brunenn - (there are numerous problems with factual content in this book - it should be used to give the researcher direction only) Langley, Albert - born March 3, 1883, died January 30, 1928, a son of Isaac and Emmoretta Langley, married April 12, 1915, Fern Bagley Langley, Harve - died April 1922 Langley, Isaac - died March 3, 1896 Langley, Samuel - his wife and daughter drowned February 1866. >From "Families of Hancock County, Illinois" published 2004 - "Langley, Joseph was born in 1804. He maried Susannah Carter in Schyuyler Co, IL on 9 Jul 1829. They had 8 known children: Keziah Jane, Lucinda, Elizabeth Ann, Isaac, Rebecca J., Charles, Harriet and Joseph. Joseph and Susanah lived in Section 36 of Carthage Twp, Hancock Co, IL. Susannah died in 1865 and Joseph died n 1878. they are buried in the Langley Family Cemetery on the farm where they lived. Two broken gravestones are all that remainin this cemetery. Keziah Jane Langley was born 20 Feb 1831 in McDonough Co, IL. She married William Thomas Thurber in Hancock Co on 29 May 1851. They had several children. Lucinda Langly was born 15 Apr 1833 in Hancock Co., IL. She marred John Munson on 30 Jul 1853 in Hancock Co. They had several children. Elizabeth Langley was born circa 1838 in Illinois. She married Daniel Ward in Hancock Co. on 12 Aug 1855. They had 2 known chidren. Isaac Langley was born ca 1842 in Hancock Co. He married Angeline Leonard in Hancock Co on 8 Oct 1861 and had 2 sons. Isaac later married Emma Jane Munson in Hancock Co on 4 Apr 1872 and had several children. Rebecca Langley was born ca 1852 in IL. Charles Langley was born ca 1855 in Hancock Co., IL. Harriett Langley was born ca 1857 in IL. No further information is available on Joseph Jr. Submitted by Ron Bryant" <My Langley's moved to Hancock County early 1840's.
