    3. Can anyone on this list tell me more about some burials at the Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw? We were there yesterday to put flowers on the graves of my grandparents and two of their sons, when we especially took note of a well-kept mausoleum and a cluster of white military stones on the north side of the grounds. There is a cannon and cannonballs among this. The mausoleum bears the name of Edwards so I assume it has some connection with Ft. Edwards?? Most of the military stones bear only the names and military connection of those buried there but no birth or death dates. There is only one with that info and the death date was 1944. The mausoleum was quite interesting. Nicely painted and maintained. There is a barred door but an inside door with a hasp was left wide open so people could see inside. There are 3 gray vaults which appear to be very well preserved metal, two of which have the printing that they are burglar-proof vaults! Made in Springfield OH. Would like ! to know more about these burials as it was very interesting to see. The cemetery looked so nice with flag poles and US flags all along the driveways. Quite impressive along with the little flags on the graves of deceased veterans. Hope all of you are having a safe Memorial Day weekend. Mary
