Hi there, Would it be possible to tell if there is any reference to the early Williams (Peter and Rebekah or their son Elijah) or Waggoner (Rebekah or her brothers John, Gershom and Gad) families of Commerce city (now Nauvoo)? (Early, as in 1830's and 1840's) I would love to buy the book, but want to be absolutely sure my family will be in it. Thanks! Send the funds to P. O. Box 68, Carthage IL 62321. Additional info can be had by calling the historical society at 217-357-0043. I'm surprised that they can get by with only $5. for the size of the publication but perhaps it is because it is a book. As with anyone who is writing "history", I have found an error about one who is a remote part of my family but only the sequence of her marriages and then another in the family that they just indicated it was a "her" without a name. But there is a lot of very good info in the many pages of the book and worth the price, esp. as the years go by! How I wish I had a copy of the Hobart bio book which was done many years ago.
