    3. Hi, Yesterday I examined and took two digital photos of the bridge across Middle Creek near the Old Brick cemetery. There are 7 steel beams set in cement abutments, and they all appear to be sound. The floor of the bridge is made of planks which appear to be about 4 inches thick. I'm less concerned now about crossing the bridge with a car. I'm not sure what the posted weight would be if that has been determined or could be determined. The present trail from the bridge to the cemetery is on private property. There was a road at one time going past the cemetery on the east end. I plan to inquire further regarding title on township roads and right-of-ways, which are typically 40' wide. If a township road was ever legally vacated, the private landowner would then have to pay taxes on the strip of land, or maybe already did pay taxes on it? I'm not sure. In 1927 an article in the Carthage paper indicated that a blueprint of the lots in this cemetery existed. The names of the trustees of the cemetery at that time are also named. I haven't been able to find this blueprint and would welcome any clues. So far it appears there may be at least 300, possibly 350-400 burials. Sincerely, Robert ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand! Surf the Web up to FIVE TIMES FASTER!
