Ireland; mother and father foreign born. (line 2) Martha Brown age 40; F; W; Keeping house; B. Ohio. Roll M 593-226 Page 2; line 30; house 21; family 21. I found lots of Browns in Illinois for 1860 but none in Hancock County index with the right names. In 1870 I did find a Caroline in Wythe, Hancock, Illinois age 35 born in Georgia, Mulatto, Post office was Warsaw. She was listed under Clifford Brown age 37, black. Roll M 593-227 Page 419 Line 5. Hi I was looking for the Brown line who had a son named Zachariah Taylor Brown B in Carthage, Hancock County ILL, 1855. I found a marriage at the genealogy library yesterday between an Edward Brown & Caroline who married in the same county, 1854. I was hoping to find Zach's parents in the census for 1860.
