Judy, I had the same thing happen. I knew my grandfather had passed in Peoria, but it wasn't listed. I wrote and they sent it to me. He died in 1923 and is buried in Vermont. I would assume that he died in Fulton County, however, his name does not appear in the Illinois State Archives on-line index. I have tried name variations. I realize that he may have died out-of-state. But, I wonder if anyone has encountered any omissions in the on-line index.
