I am just starting my research on the family of Wm Ross who lived in Hancock Co. All I know at this time is their daughter Lauretta Ross married Moses T Dyer in Carthage in 1847. I believe her father to be Wm Ross and I did find a Wm and Martha plus children on the 1850 census. I'm hoping some one out there is researching this family. Not sure when Wm died but he is also on the 1860 census. I am hoping I can find a will or probate record for him. Thanks, Lorelee Iles Dendauw~Oregon
