Seba was born 17 May 1776 in Meriden, CT and his father was Abel Ives and his mother Lois Tuttle. LDS records show that Seba was a member of the early Mormon Church and helped build the Kirtland, Ohio Temple. Seba and Mary may have married about 1815 in Connecticut or New York. Lucinda was born in Herkimer County, New York in 1823. Seba is listed in the 1830 census in New York, Genesee County, Stafford township. Then moved on to Kirtland, Ohio (1835) then settled in the Nauvoo, Illinois area (1842). According to census records Seba and Mary had a boy a little older than Lucinda and also a girl very close to Lucinda's age, can't tell if she is older or younger than Lucinda. So now I'm trying to find Mary's maiden name as well as her other children's names. I am also still looking for death and burial information on Truman Kinney, Lucinda's husband, and Seba Ives and Mary Ives, parents of Lucinda, as well as names and burial places for her missing 7 babies (infant deaths or still born?).
