I didn't find them in Hancock County in 1850. I did find a family that could be them in Kansas in 1880. You may already have this information, but here's the 1880 entry just in case. 1880, Silver Creek, Cowley County, Kansas James Jackson, age 45, farmer, b. Ireland, parents b. Ireland Mary, age 35, keeping house, b. Ohio, parents b. Denmark John, age 21, work on farm, b. Illinois Luke, age 19, at home, b. Illinois Mary, age 13, at home, b. Illinois James, age 9, b. Illinois Charlotte, age 7, b. Kansas Benjamin, age 5, b. Kansas In 1900, I cannot find James or Mary, but some of the children appear to be in Cowley County, Kansas. 1900, Richland Township, Cowley County, Kansas Pierce Teter, age 25, b. March 1872, Illinois, parents b. Illinois Lottie [Charlotte?], wife, age 27, b. May 1873, Kansas, father-Ireland, mother-Germany Mollie, age 6, b. Jul 1893, Kansas Mildred, age 4, b. Dec 1895, Kansas Samuel, age 2, b. March 1898, Kansas Luke Jackson, brother-in-law, b. Feb 1859, age 41, father-Ireland, mother-Germany Pierce and Lottie have been married 9 years. She has given birth to 4 children, 3 of whom survive.
