C. J. Rediger officiating. Burial was in Moss Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Munson died Friday evening in Memorial Hospital in Carthage. She was born Nov. 16, 1876 the daughter of Levi and Marcella Turner Newhard. She was a retired practical nurse. On March 11, 1895 she married Joseph Munson who died June 28, 1952. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge of Galesburg. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Roy Grainger of Carthage and Mrs. Earl Henderson of Glasford, a son Laurence of Burlington, Iowa, three sisters, Miss Mary C. Newhard of Stroutsville, Mo., Mrs. Olive Richards of Aberdeen, S. D. and Mrs. Myrtle Pechemeier of Elbow Lake, Minn., six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. - -------------------------------- Hancock County Historical Society Carthage, Illinois Siegfried X Page 121 Mrs. Eva Munson of Carthage dies Friday CARTHAGE, Ill.--Mrs. Eva Ann Munson of 256 Wabash Ave., died at 8:22 p.m. Friday in Memorial hospital. She was born November 16, 1876 the daughter of Levi and Marcella Turner Newhard. She was a retired practical nurse. On March 11, 1895 she married Joseph Munson who died June 28, 1952. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge of Galesburg.
