Il Obituaries Forum Board URL: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/HancockObits?read=246 Surname: KINKADE ------------------------- The Carthage Gazette - Friday, July 13, 1945 Mrs. Jane Kinkade, a resident of Hamilton most of her life, although she has been living recently in Warsaw, died at 9 a.m. July 9, in Graham Hospital as a result of a fall in which her hip was fractured. Born in Augusta, IL on November 10, 1858, she married James A. Kinkade on May 25, 1875. Surviving are two sons, Cook Kinkade and George Kinkade of Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Harriet harter of Quincy and Mrs. Inez Koppsicker of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services wer held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Hanerhoff funeral home. Note: Her maiden name was also Kinkaid. She's the daughter of James Woodburn Kinkaid and Lydia (nee Dick) Kinkaid. She would be my great great Aunt.
