He had been ill for several weeks with an ear infection. Chellis was born in Plymouth and was a senior in high school there. His mother preceded him in death. He is survived by his father, his step-mother, Mrs. Marie Webb Munson, and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Householder of Plymouth. Funeral services were conducted by Elder C. E. Webb of Bentley at the Providence church, west of Plymouth on Friday at 2:00 p.m. and interment was in Irwin cemetery.
