'Durango' Tripp June 10, 1931 - Sept. 9, 1996 WARSAW, Ill. - Ray J. "Durango" Tripp, 65, a lifetime resident of Warsaw, Ill., died at 7:57 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, 1996, in Keokuk Area Hospital. He was born June 10, 1931, in Warsaw, Ill., to William H. and Lucinda "Lulabelle" Clark Tripp. Survivors include: a brother, William Marvin Tripp Sr. of Warsaw, Ill., and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and six sisters. He was of the Protestant faith. He farmed in the Warsaw, Ill., area. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, with the Rev. Charles W. Hadsall officiating. Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw is in charge of arrangements.
