Posted on: Hancock County, Il Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Il/Hancock?read=969 Surname: Waring ------------------------- The "History of Hancock County, IL" pub. 1968 states on p.179 that a Basil Waring and a Jesse Christian Waring are both buried at the Pulaski Cemetery, about 3 miles southeast of Augusta,IL. Both are mentioned as being a "soldier of 1812". I don't know if this is your Basil, but since Augusta is only a few miles north of Northeastern Adams Co. it is possible. I am not researching these families and have no futher information.
