    1. Re: [ILHANCOC] Timothy Tyler and Edward Davis
    2. Hi, I have a Joseph W. DAVIS, but almost nothing about him. He married my ggreat aunt Ella Nora LONGWELL in 1869, Maquon (Knox Co) IL. Ella Nora LONGWELL DAVIS was born abt 1852 in Maquon. Her father was from Marion and Licking County, Ohio, her mother (Harriet CASTLE) from Syracuse, New York. They migrated to IL about 1851-52. Ella Nora (sometimes called Elnora) died in 1892 and is buried in the Maquon cemetery, approx 5 mi northwest of town. No known children, but might have some? She is buried beside her father, Samuel LONGWELL and her only sister, Nellie A. LONGWELL MILLER, (wife of Albert L. Miller) Nellie died in 1889 at age 22, just one month past her one year wedding anniversary (in childbirth perhaps?) Their brothers also married: Some of the surnames of those wives are: Laura DALTON, Carrie BENSON, Beatrice SNOWDEN, Grace CHAMBERS, May INGRAM, Isabella BARNET, Mary DONALDSON, Lizzie RAY, Flora JONES (annulled), Anna Louise ZILLMER. Timothy is shown in the 1850 Hancock Co. census. Am also searching for Edward R. Davis, son of Henry and Mary Ann Davis. Believe he was born about 1861 in Illinois and may have married a Della ???. He resided in McCall, Illinois in 1900. He was the youngest son of Henry and Mary Ann. Any info appreciated. >>
