James Fox officiating. Burial was in Moss Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Nelser Funeral Home, Carthage. A memorial to the First Baptist Church has been established. Mrs. Munson died Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Carthage Memorial Hospital. She was born Feb.24, 1897, in Burnside, a daughter of Lyman and Martha Ammons Landon. She married Marion A. Munson, who died in December, 1938. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carthage. Surviving are four sons, Arthur Munson of Elvaston, Marion of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Leon of Stillwater, Okla. and Weldon of Carthage; five daughters, Mrs. R. L. (Blanche) Webber of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Walter (Irene) Vack of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Hollis (Agnes) Campbell of Bushnell, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Kiesow of Tennesee, Ill. and Mrs. Michael (Betty) Strubinger of Carthage; 29 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
